As of Saturday, September 5th, 2026, they are still making successful rescues of people trapped inside the hydropower station tunnels — today, another man was pulled out alive after being trapped for 11 days. This is a sprint and a marathon.
There’s mixed information about what has happened in Nepal and why. But one thing we know for sure, people need food, shelter, water, medical care, and clothing. They have to rebuild everything from scratch. That is going to require a global community of support.
